Physician Assistant Committed to Compassionate, Connected Care

“I want to be your number one advocate, guiding you on your health journey.”

For Aiden Cascio, becoming a physician assistant wasn’t just a career choice – it was personal. Inspired by her mother’s battle with stage 3 breast cancer when Aiden was just in second grade, she saw firsthand the impact that compassionate, attentive healthcare can have on a family. That experience stayed with her, ultimately guiding her to pursue Seton Hall University’s accelerated physician assistant program as the first in her family to enter the healthcare field.

Aiden chose family medicine for its breadth and the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients. She values being a trusted first call – whether someone is coming in for a routine checkup or navigating a new health concern. “At the end of the day, it’s about being there for my patients,” she says. “Not just for one visit, but for the long run.”

Her approach is rooted in listening, advocacy, and follow-through. Patients consistently share that they feel heard and supported in her care. Aiden makes it a priority to ensure every concern is addressed, and if it can’t be resolved in a single visit, she’s committed to seeing it through. “It’s not about a quick in-and-out appointment,” she explains. “I want my patients to know I’m here for them every step of the way.”

That commitment is what drew her to Vanguard Medical Group. With its patient-first philosophy and integrated resources, Aiden can connect patients with the comprehensive care they need, helping to close gaps and improve outcomes. She finds her greatest motivation in seeing her patients thrive. “Whether it’s through medication, lifestyle changes, or small steps over time, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone feel better,” she says. “If I can help make that happen, that’s a win.”

Outside the office, Aiden enjoys slowing things down – baking homemade sourdough bread, cooking, and spending time in the garden, where she’s happiest with her hands in the dirt.
