Dr. Sheila Mellody Named Medical Director for Vanguard’s Farmingdale Office
FARMINGDALE, N.J. – Vanguard Medical Group has named family medicine physician Dr. Sheila Mellody as the new medical director of its Farmingdale office, recognizing her years of outstanding service, clinical expertise, and strong leadership. A trusted and familiar face in the community, Dr. Mellody has been caring for patients at the Farmingdale location since 2013.
In her new leadership role, Dr. Mellody will oversee clinical operations while continuing to provide high-quality, compassionate care. She is known for fostering a warm, welcoming environment where both patients and staff feel valued. “The Farmingdale office is special because it feels more like a home than a medical office,” she said. “Our team is the heart of this practice—and patients feel that when they walk through the door.”
