Sally Mravcak, MD

Dr. Sally Mravcak is a family physician who has been in practice since 2003. She joined Vanguard Medical Group’s Jersey City office in 2016 and became the Medical Director two years later.
Since joining Vanguard Medical Group, Dr. Mravcak has played a pivotal role in various initiatives, leading work groups in women’s health, deprescribing, obesity, and risk coding. She serves on the Board of Directors for Vanguard Medical Group and the Population Health Team and oversees multidisciplinary case conferences for behavioral health and high-risk patients. Additionally, she has served on the Finance Committee.
Dr. Mravcak is an alumna of Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her residency at Somerset Medical Center. She is fellowship trained in women’s health and board certified in family medicine and integrative medicine. Additionally, she completed advanced training in medical acupuncture at Helms Medical Institute in Berkeley, Ca.
She is a former president of the New Jersey Association of Family Physicians (NJAFP). Dr. Mravcak also is a regular lecturer at her alma mater, the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. There she volunteers her time to train the next generation of family physicians.
In her practice, Dr. Mravcak emphasizes holistic care and preventive medicine. She provides competent, unbiased care to Jersey City’s diverse patient population, including a significant number of LGBTQI+ individuals, fostering health equity.
