Katherine Fowler
Executive Director
Katherine Fowler is the Executive Director for Vanguard Medical Group. In this role, she has responsibility for overall leadership, management, and development of the organization with respect to operational matters.
With over 15 years’ experience in the medical field throughout the country, Katherine has an extensive healthcare management background. She joined Vanguard Medical Group from RWJ Barnabas Health, in West Orange, New Jersey, where she served as Vice President of Outpatient Services. Prior to that she was with MedStar Health, Ambulatory Services where she held the role of Assistant Vice President of Operations located in Columbia, Maryland. She spent a majority of her career with HCA HealthONE in Denver, Colorado where she progressed from Administrative Resident to Vice President of Administration at Swedish Medical Center.
Katherine earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with a Minor in Business Administration from Ohio University, and her Masters of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is active in many community activities and enjoys mentoring healthcare students.
