Dr. Sarah Wistreich is a dedicated family physician who has been providing exceptional patient care since 2012. Since joining Vanguard in 2016, she has held several pivotal leadership roles, reflecting her passion for advancing healthcare and strategic growth within the organization.
Dr. Wistreich has served on the Women’s Health, Deprescribing, and Succession Planning Committees, bringing her expertise and commitment to improving patient outcomes. She has been the Medical Director of Vanguard’s Cranford office since 2018 and a consulting physician for the Braven Health Provider Council, driving innovation in healthcare delivery. She played a pivotal role in the Financial Accountability Workgroup in 2023 and 2024, which paved the way for her current position as Managing/Finance Partner. She also is a past board member for Vanguard Health Solutions.
A leader in population health, Dr. Wistreich has spearheaded initiatives such as transitions of care, achieving quality metrics, and increasing annual wellness visits. She has also improved patient access by optimizing physician schedules, enhancing profitability without compromising quality of care.
Dr. Wistreich was named Finance Partner in 2024 and promoted to Managing Partner and VMG Board Member in 2025. Her strategic focus includes maintaining Vanguard’s independence, ensuring excellence in patient care, and fostering staff development.
